ANOTHER PRAWTECH GEOTHERMAL RECORD

Dear Customers,

We are pleased to inform you about this year’s excellent market performance of the ground source heat pump sector in Poland and the outstanding success of solutions originating from under the PRAWTECH brand.

As part of the tasks of the National Geological Survey, the latest map and statistics for borehole heat exchangers drilled in Poland for construction projects have been published. It is worth noting that their total capacity according to PGI amounted to as much as 156 MW in 2022 alone! This is undoubtedly a significant contribution to the national RES energy mix.

On the other hand, the latest statistics kept by the Polish Heat Pump Technology Development Organization show that in 2023 sales of ground source heat pumps increased by 23% compared to the same period in 2022. This could mean the installation of a record number of about 9,000 ground source heat pumps in Poland this year. We estimate the total capacity of these installations at no less than 180 MW! As an aside, it can be noted that this is more or less the total heat production from all geothermal installations in Poland, headed by Geotermia Podhalańska.

By supplying nearly 12,000 vertical heat exchangers in 2023, PRAWTECH is responsible for about 56 MW of heating capacity installed this year. The data presented means more than 30% share of PRAWTECH GEOTHERMAL group products in the domestic market for ground heat sources.

III SEMINAR GEOENERGETICS AND GEOTHERMAL HEAT PUMPS, AGH KRAKOW

Good afternoon,

We are pleased to announce that last week in Krakow we had the opportunity to participate in a substantive session of lectures defined around the theme of the seminar “Heat of the earth, heat of tomorrow”.

The following day, a group of listeners including delegates from PRAWTECH, participated in a field session where the Podhale Geothermal installation was presented, as well as the UOS drilling platform stand currently implementing the world’s deepest geothermal borehole project with a depth of 7000m! This highly advanced research project is oriented towards reaching a borehole depth of 7km in mid-2024 and the eventual exploitation of a geothermal water deposit estimated at 180-200°C.

Congratulations to the organizers of the event for the excellent idea and setting, and to the participants for the opportunity to learn about geothermal and geoenergy projects that are unique on a global scale.

UNIT FLOW RESISTANCE TESTS OF PRAWTECH GEOTHERMAL PRODUCTS

We are pleased to inform you that the complete series of PRAWTECH GEOTHERMAL products has been tested and verified in two independent research units, including the laboratory of AGH in Miękinia.

We would like to emphasize that the work to optimize ground heat source systems and implement for the launch of new Terra series products is carried out by PRAWTECH based on the highest standards and objective evaluations.

As a result, we share with our partners reliable nomograms and tests of unit flow resistance measurements performed within the framework of an in-depth technological audit, on two independent test stands and using model pressure sensors with an accuracy of 0.5%. The developed materials for the FUTURA and LAMELA probes, as well as the Terra ground source chambers and manifolds, in effect provide further support from the manufacturer for the design and conceptual work of each ground source heat pump.

MATERIAL FOR FILLING PROBE MOUNTING HOLES – TERRACEM 2.0 GROUTING ORIGINAL

We invite you to familiarize yourself with another novelty in the PRAWTECH GEOTHERMAL offer.

Under the trade name TerraCEM 2.0 Grouting ORIGINAL, we have introduced a mixture of mineral binders designed to fill hole heat exchangers

The presented material allows for a permanent connection of the probe to the ground, which guarantees optimal heat conduction and reduction of thermal resistance of the hole.

The use of TerraCEM 2.0 as a material for sealing and filling the space between the vertical heat exchanger and the hole wall provides the following advantages:

• Reduction of thermal resistance of the hole.
• Permanent connection of the probe to the ground.
• Protects the probe against point load.
• Isolates aquifers to prevent mixing of water from different water horizons and elution of fill material.
• No harmful effects on the environment.
• Easy to prepare and apply.

TERRA PRO AND UNI CHAMBERS: NEW PRODUCTS IN THE PRAWTECH GEOTHERMAL OFFER

Dear customers,

We are pleased to announce that with the inauguration of the new PRAWTECH GEOTHERMAL 2020 series product catalog, we have introduced a number of solutions for sale, including the Terra PRO manifold chamber and the Terra UNI cascade chamber.

The investment chambers of the Terra PRO series are offered in the range of 15-28 sections and are designed for large and medium power installations. In order to increase the comfort and safety of the operation of the hydraulic system of the lower heat source, the PRO series chambers are equipped with a section of the Dn100 double flanged butterfly valve mounted on the collective manifold beams (supply and return). The valves enable the separation of the entire hydraulic manifold with the heat exchanger field from the inlet pipes and the heat pump engine room.

On the other hand, cascade chambers of the Terra UNI series are a specialized line of products dedicated to servicing complex and distributed systems of the ground source system for GSHPs. Their task is to integrate the designed borehole fields through the central connection of individual manifold chambers.

EXHIBITION IN DUBAI

On November 23-26, we participated in the BIG 5 exhibition in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

This year, the 40th edition of that exhibition was held.

The BIG 5 is the largest construction exhibition for the Middle East, Asia and Africa. This year it attracted more than 68000 visitors and 2500 exhibitors from 130 countries representing buyers and suppliers from across the entire construction cycle.

UNDER THE WATCHFUL EYE OF GOLEM

Golem, a production management system, has been started and synchronized with the operation of devices in the new production hall.

The Golem system can be included in the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) group, i.e. systems that collect production data in real time, enabling production analysis and control of running production orders, taking into account planning optimality.

Golem allows continuous observation of machines, devices and key elements in the process of plant efficiency. Observation is discreet. You can see the state of the machines (status), what product is currently manufactured, who is the operator, what time is left until the end of the order, etc. Remote control over the machines is also possible.

The use of the Golem system allows you to respond to disturbing production conditions in a much faster time. Their quick verification thanks to the graphic presentation of the collected data enables efficient management of the entire production department.

PRODUCTION OF PIPES AND FITTINGS IN THE NEW HALL

We have completed the stage of transfer of machines and equipment to the new production hall. Currently, the production of pipes and fittings takes place entirely in the new building.

In recent weeks, an automatic feed system has also been installed and we have launched a group of new injection molding machines. The implementation of a computerized production monitoring system is underway.

PRAWTECH sp. Z o. o. has been awarded the Forbes Diamond – a distinction awarded to Polish enterprises that increase their market value as fast as possible.

In the twelfth edition of the Diamonds, the editors of the monthly Forbes in cooperation with Bisnode Polska (an independent expert and European leader in collecting, developing and providing economic information) developed a list of the most dynamically developing companies in our country. Analysts and experts valued companies using the Swiss method. It combines the property and income method.

On Wednesday, May 29, in the Stary Hotel in Krakow, Forbes Diamonds were awarded to companies from the “Małopolskie and Podkarpackie” voivodships. Our company has been recognized in the segment of companies with sales revenues in the range of 5-50 million PLN, ranking third in the “Małopolskie” voivodship and 77 in the country.
